Choosing your Managing Agent...

Do you want to be a number in the very long list of properties many property manager’s look after? A vast majority of Real Estate Agent companies have hundreds of properties to manage. At times these properties slip through the cracks and the owners don’t receive the service they pay for, or deserve.
Recently, I received a property to manage where it had been with two different agents in the past 5 years. From the outset, the original lease was not properly signed, the lease expired in 2018 and never renewed, the tenants had not been billed for water usage for the last two years, there had been no rental increase since 2016 (a loss of potential income for the owners of $160/mth in the current market), the property was occupied by an excessive number of occupants, beyond what the original lease allowed and what would be reasonable for the property. This has resulted in excessive wear and tear on the property and more expense for the owner to maintain/repair.
The issues were easily avoidable, simply by choosing a managing agent that will treat your property and manage it the way every owner deserves.
